It was my wife and I's 2nd wedding anniversary last week and we wanted to eat a nice restaurant downtown. After much deliberation, we settled on Mrs. Fish! Why you ask? because any restaurant that has a giant fish tank in the ceiling is a winner in my book. We made a reservation for 6:00PM and were seated as soon as we arrived. From the moment you walk into this place, it is absolutely stunning! Once checked in at the front door, you walk down an awesomely painted tunnel downstairs before being seated in the beautiful main room. The menu here is full of different types of sushi, rice dishes, and the other usual things you would expect from a higher end sushi joint. I'm going to be completey honest here about what I ate....I don't actually remember what everything I ate was since my wife tends to order a bunch of different rolls and I simply eat whatever is in front of me, BUT, here's what I thought of the things I did remember eating. Chicken Meatballs- These small little balls of chicken were absolutely full of flavour and absolutely delicious! Seared Tuna Crispy Rice- I tried these at Tom Tom in West Hollywood a few weeks back so I was stoked to try some more here and they were absolutely amazing! Vegetable Fried Rice- No matter where I go for sushi, I always enjoy having some kind of a fried rice dish on the side and this day was no different. The rice itself was solid and had a fried egg on top. Those were the non sushi things I ate and outside of trying Barracuda for the first time and absolutely falling in love with it, every single Nigiri roll I ate was absolutely mouth wateringly delicious. Overall, Mrs.Fish was a five star sushi experience from the second we walked in till the second we walked out. The staff here was super friendly throughout our visit and even gave us a small desert to share to celebrate our anniversary. The ambiance here was fantastic, the food was insanely good, and thanks to it's convenient location downtown, I'll for sure be coming back for more!

Gorgeous all around! Plenty of IG photo spots. Happy Birthday to me. Wonderful spot to spend with my sister and bestie. EVERYTHING was excellent. Small dishes to share. I can not say enough. We did order 2 of the large dish of MISO BLACK COD couldn't get enough. My cocktail was special in that smoky type of way. Presentation makes you feel extra fancy. I shall return!

This is my idea of an upscale sushi experience, it's one of the best designed restaurants in my opinion, possibly the best sushi I've ever had, top 2 for sure, the DJ was on fire as well!

Server was so nice and friendly, loved the music. Tuna on crispy rice was the best I ever had in my life. Food was so good as well I hope to come back soon

If i could give more stars I would!!! Our mixologist Yutaro was absolutely amazing!!!! He was friendly and personable and made the visit very special. If you get a moment stop by for the great music, ceiling fish tank and the drinks (downstairs bar)! We will be back!!!
